Funds Out
The Access to Justice Foundation will make grants from the monies it receives.
It will do in accordance with transparent principles settled by its Board of Trustees.
It will work strategically with the national pro bono organisations and with a new matrix of Regional Legal Support Trusts across England & Wales.
Pro bono legal assistance complements, but is not a substitute for, legal aid (ie publicly funded help). In the same way with the Foundation and the Regional Legal Support Trusts - their grants will be directed to supporting the delivery of pro bono advice or assistance, but never in place of the legal aid system.
